We made some beautiful paper garlands today. Here’s how we did it…
First we laid out lots of strips of paper and glued them into two long strips.

Then we stuck the ends together and started folding. Each strip takes it in turns to fold across the other.
Folding, folding and more folding!
Sometimes you have to untangle the strips of paper because they are so long!
Unwinding the tangles
Finally you get all the folds done and you end up with a little block of paper.
All folded
Then you glue the ends and let it go!
